ABOUT SARAH
Sarah Vosburgh is both a lover of consuming literature and constructing it. Her favorite genre is poetry, and two of her favorite authors are Emily Dickinson and Madeleine L'Engle.
She earned her doctorate from the University of Connecticut Storrs and came to her passion for writing later in life as her professional and personal life occupied most of her time until her children were through college. As a native New Englander she believes she does not have an accent, but has been told so many times after moving to San Diego ten years ago.
Sarah's writing is often inspired by her own experiences, and she pulls from her childhood in Connecticut, where, as a Catholic, she grew up in a predominantly Jewish area.

Sarah has been an active member of the San Diego Memoir Writer's Association since 2016 and has been published in three anthologies. She is also in the process of editing her memoir.
